The Steps of beginning a
Website with Farm Proud
The first step in beginning a
website with Farm Proud is informing us of your interest. After we receive a
feedback form indicating you are interested in creating a website with Farm
Proud, you will be contacted by e-mail or by a phone call by Farm Proud.
During this call, we would like to know more about your operation and
discuss any ideas you may have for the creation of your website. Also in the
phone call, we will answer any questions you may have about managing a
website with us.
The second step is the creation of your
website. During this time, pictures, and other materials needed for your
website will be sent to Farm Proud to be applied to your site. Written
material sent through e-mail to Farm Proud is highly encouraged and
recommended, as it will be applied to each of your pages. We understand that
it may take quite some time to write your pages perfectly, therefore; we
inform you in our phone call that it is no problem to send us a rough draft
for the immediate time, and later send a more detailed, well written script.
During the creation of your website, a temporary URL address will be
established with your website on it. This is done to allow instant access to
your site via internet to view it before it is actually applied to your
site. This will give you the opportunity to see the construction of your
website as it occurs and allows the customer to communicate with us about
changes and ideas throughout the construction phase. A $50.00 deposit must
be paid in order to begin a website.
Once your website is built, we will establish the
domain name you have chosen (web address).
A Contract of Services agreement will also need to be signed and returned for
all services provided by Farm Proud. In this brief document, this contract
serves as our promise to you for the services we provide, and serves as an
agreement between both parties.
Now that your site is created, you
may contact Farm Proud via e-mail or phone to make corrections to your site
at any time. For example, if you have a steer sale coming up and you would
like a page dedicated to the sale, and also decide you would like a
submittable RSVP form created, you simply would send that information to us
and we will apply it to your site. These corrections, additions, revisions,
etc., come from the 5 hours you paid for in the yearly service fee of
$125.00. To account for your corrections, revisions, additions, etc., a
log will be created and available to you that shows the time spent doing
work to your site.
Customer Referral Program- If you decide to begin a
website with Farm Proud, we offer what we call the "Customer Referral Program."
Through the Customer Referral Program, for every new customer you refer to us
who creates a website with us, and signs a 1 yr. service agreement, you will be
awarded $20.00 to be applied to the following years service fee. It will be your
responsibility however to inform us of the referral at the time of service
initiation. Please contact us for more details.
