How-It-Works So you want an affordable website where there is no middle man and no hidden charges? No problem. Farm Proud does just that. Farm Proud designs and tailors your website to your needs and takes care of all steps to get your professional website to the web. Farm Proud is unique in the fact that it is the sole developer and producer of your website and personalizes your website to your every need. With Farm Proud, you don't need to know how to build a website or worry about updating it, simply because we do all of that for you. You simply give us the information you want on your website and tell us how you want it to look and we will do our best to meet your every need. Typically, clients e-mail us information for each of their pages and we apply it to the designated page. If you have any questions about anything regarding our services, please don't hesitate to contact us. We realize this is a lot of information and it may seem confusing. We look forward to working with you. Having your own farm or agricultural website is easier than you think!!! Web Package "Services Included": WEBSITE- We will design a website according to your specifications and to our best ability. A URL address will be established during the initial setup similar to this: www.yourfarmname.com . All websites have a 300 MB limit. To give you a better Idea of how much room that is, this site currently operates at about 25 MB. A normal picture on a site takes about 1.4 MB of space depending upon the mega pixels. More space can be purchased if needed. Please check out our "Designed Sites" page to view some websites we have designed. More information can be found on the "How to get Started" page as well. E-MAIL- With our web package, you will receive 5 e-mail accounts. Additional accounts can be purchased if needed. All accounts are compatible with Microsoft Outlook e-mail programs as well as accessible from the web at any place in the world via internet connection. Your account would look similar to this: yourname@farmproud.com . Prices: INITIAL SETUP- $150.00 This one time initial Setup fee includes: creating your domain name through the National Domain Registry, Creation of any e-mail addresses you need, support for setting up your e-mail addresses into Microsoft Outlook Programs, creating your website from scratch, applying information to the website, and uploading your website to the server. This setup fee is due in full upon completion of your website. A $50.00 deposit is required to start a new website. A signed "Contract of Services Form" must also be signed and returned upon payment. *Note: The one time initial setup fee is assuming that you would be able to provide the designer with already typed material via e-mail which could be inserted into the site. If you do not have typed material, in most cases an interview would take place usually in person, over the phone, or on paper which would help the designer develop the material for each page. Interview charge varies depending upon the extent of information and size of website requested. YEARLY SERVICE FEE- $125.00 Included in this price are 5 hours to make revisions, additions, and changes to your site for the year. Additional hours are charged with consent at $15.00/hr. FYI - Changes to sites after initial setup are minimal depending on customer needs. Rarely do I have a customer who goes over the 5 hours. A signed "Contract of Services Form" must also be signed and returned upon payment for each year a service is established. Additional Options Available: STAT COUNTER: FREE -This application is free and optional. This allows you (the customer) to view live stats regarding hits to your site, page loads, location of visitors, what they clicked on when they were at your site, how long they stayed at your site, how they got to your site, how many times they returned, and much more! This information can be retrieved at any time via internet connection. TRAFFIC BLAZER: ADD: $35.00 - Traffic Blazer submits your website to major search engines and greatly promotes your site to prospective customers when they use a search engine. A normal website designed by Farm Proud will typically start displaying under search results within a few months of putting it on the web without this service. |
